New York City has been called great many names, including “Big Apple,” “a city that never sleeps,” and “Gotham.” Similarly, New York City can be dubbed as “a shopping paradise” and undeniably so because of the countless shops scattered within its vicinity that range from high-end designer shops to bargain stores and flea markets.

Tourists may find themselves a little overwhelmed when they visit New York City to shop because of the wide-ranging options that will be presented to them. New York City is overflowing with great places to splurge or to bargain shop. Even the fastidious shopper will certainly be snowed under.

Fifth Avenue is home to some of the biggest names in high fashion, the likes of Chanel, Prada, Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Gianni Versace. If you have the extra dough to splurge, then don’t stop yourself from indulging in these big deal treats that will surely spoil your luxurious lifestyle.

For those who love unique fashion finds and eclectic olden-day music paraphernalia, Beacon’s Closet is the place to go. Beacon’s Closet is known for its vintage collection of both music and fashion stuffs. Most of the clothing is in excellent form and condition despite being secondhand and are affordably priced at less than ten dollars. Last but not the least, Annex Antiques Fair and Flea Market is the perfect corner to bargain shop with great finds such as collectibles and antiques. This is a great spot for tourists to hound for bric-a-bracs and uncommon treasures for a lesser price.
